PIC Bootcamp
Practitioner 3
Introduction to Fabrication
You will be introduced to the fabrication processes behind PICs. Here you will gain hands-on experience with cleanroom procedures and equipment, developing a deeper understanding of how fabrication methods impact device performance. The session also highlights the constraints and challenges that affect manufacturing outcomes and shows how a good grasp of fabrication principles leads to more robust, failure-resistant design layouts.
