PIC Bootcamp
Practitioner 2
Introduction to Chip Layout and PDK's for fabrication using Luceda IPKISS
This session guides you through how to translate their designs into a layout, bridging the gap between design and fabrication. This is closely linked to the Practitioner 1 course, and we recommend taking both courses together. You will gain a clear understanding of layout creation, Process Design Kits (PDKs), and how to prepare designs for manufacturing. Through hands-on exercises using Luceda IPKISS, a Python-based platform integrated with Ansys Lumerical, you will gain insight into translating and optimising layouts for foundry-ready production.
