Introduction to Simulation
ANSYS Lumerical

Ansys Lumerical is a standard tool used to simulate integrated photonics components and systems. It is complex and powerful. This session introduces participants to the software and shows them how to use it, creating individual components and simulating them. Participants will be provided with some background reading before attending to familiarise themselves with the software, so that training can be maximised. By the end, participants will understand how to drive the simulation tool and how to do this effectively.
