Hands-on introduction to PICs and their Functionality

This session introduces the fundamental building blocks of Photonic Integrated Circuits (PICs) and their basic control methods. Participants will gain hands-on experience using Lightport training boxes to explore how individual components function and interact. You will assemble simple circuits using a plug-and-play system, reinforcing key concepts through practical experimentation.
